Flexible Classifications

Plenty of people need to track their time, including accountants, lawyers, engineers, designers, software developers, and consultants of all kinds. However, not everyone thinks of their work in the same way. Lawyers might think of "clients" and "cases", while engineers might think about "projects" and "tasks". Some people may just work on "jobs". LiveTimer lets you classify your work the way you want.

By default, your LiveTimer account is configured with a single classification type, named "projects". However, as you can see from the following page, LiveTimer allows you to select which classifications are used and what they are called:

Each classification that you create can be defined with a number of fields, such as name, description, URL, and ID. These fields add meaning to your classifications, and can be useful for integrating LiveTimer with other systems.

There is no limit to the number of classifications that you can create for your account.
